Huge Art by Ron Mueck

Ron Mueck is an Australian born (1958) hyperrealist sculptor working in the UK.
He used to be a model maker and puppeteer for children's television and films. He transitioned to fine art in 1996.
His sculptures faithfully depict every detail of the human body, but never in the original scale. I think they're awesome. Take a look.

What a fun selection of art you feature! Thank you for giving credit to the artists and for including "Dali's Darlin' Ziraffe" from the Lark book "500 Chairs." What a fun selection of art you feature! I especially enjoy seeing "A Cupcake for Van Gogh" by Halima Washington. I recently created an oversize papier mache and neon cupcake for an exhibit celebrating Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday. You can see it on my web/blog http://www.RheaArt.com

Rhea, thank you for your great comment!
It's always nice to meet (at least virtually) the artist behind the artwork. I added a link to your website in your Ziraffe.
I visited your website, and it's great. I love papier mache!
